Stanly County Beekeepers Meeting August 9th 2018

(Place) Stanly County Agri-Civic Center, 25032 Newt Rd, Albemarle 28001

(Program) 7 pm Practical demonstration of making splits to increase your number of hives for next year. Bring your bee suits if you need to.

Reports from summer meeting.

If you can please do a mite check (powered sugar shake) on one or more of your hives, we would like to know where we stand gong into August.

(Meal) 6pm Grilled hot dogs, slaw, baked beans, potato salad, chips, and iced tea $5.00

Door prizes welcome. Look forward to seeing everyone.



Remember: The club has an extractor and uncapping tank available.

Oakboro Regional Museum Features Stanly County Beekeepers Association

April 29 2 pm to 4 pm bring any of your Honey-Wax-Bee related Items you may want to talk about and or sell to the Oakboro Regional Museum 203 West Main Street, Oakboro NC
Come out and help promote beekeeping in Stanly county.

Also Cabarrus County is having a field day the 28th 10 to 3 at St Martin Lutheran Church 5469 Hwy NC 200 Mt Pleasant NC

SCBA Spring Field Day

Stanly County Beekeepers will host a field day Saturday the 21st
Time: 9:00 a.m.
Where: Centerview Baptist Church
508 NE Connector
Albemarle, NC 28001
Bring: your bee gear, smoker and hive tool
1). We will visit a bee yard and get a hands-on look at working hives.
2). Practical test for the Certified level of the Master beekeeper program will be offered if you have passed the written test
Lunch: Served around 12:30 at the church
More Activities: Games and Prizes will follow
